Grandma Dona Maria Cristina Monteiro, 72 years old, wanted to make her granddaughter Marina Monteiro’s 18th birthday unforgettable.

For this, she presented the young woman with a bed quilt embroidered with drawings from her childhood. The moment happened last Friday (23) in Minas Gerais, having been shared on TikTok.

Look what a beautiful embroidery 😍

As it is a tradition in the family, Marina already expected to receive a quilt, but was surprised by the care and meaning of the embroidery.

Since he was six years old, his grandmother collects drawings to make his present.

“I was very enterprising and sold my drawings for 25 cents, for a child that is a lot”, joked Marina.

The presence of the elderly woman also caught her granddaughter by surprise…

That’s because a few days before her birthday, Marina was all sad to hear from family members that her grandmother would not be able to participate in the celebration.
