For Natalia, 33 years old, life is a challenge that she overcomes every day with a beautiful smile on her face! 💪🏻
She has a disease called arthrogryposis, a malformation of the joints that have not developed correctly, causing limitation of movement and decreased muscle strength.
Despite the condition, Natalia does not feel prevented from taking care of her children with absolute zeal: she changes them, feeds them and even takes time to make beautiful motivational pictures using her own mouth. That’s right, with your mouth, people!

Son also suffers from diseases
Natalia was born with a condition called arthrogryposis, which causes muscle atrophy and joint malformations. She, who lives in Barra Bonita (SP) with her husband and two children aged 6 and 11, underwent several surgeries to be able to walk. Unfortunately, the hands were unsuccessful, as their movements are still very limited.
His youngest son, Davi, six years old, was born with hydrocephalus, he has two valves in his little head to drain the liquid. He also has autism and asthma.
In 2020, the boy had a very bad time and even lost consciousness. At the hospital, doctors discovered a problem with her drain valve. Out of options, he had to undergo surgery to install a second valve.
Two years ago, Natália had to leave her job as an office assistant to take full-time care of Davi, who had been having successive seizures while she was away at work. 😔
“It was very difficult for all of us, I thought I would lose my son”, said the mother, who has been married to Willian, 36, for twelve years.

In addition to her daily concern for her son’s well-being, Natalia has to take care of her 63-year-old mother, who also lives with her after being diagnosed with brain atrophy. The elderly also need constant care.
The family lives in a rented house. Only Davi and his mother receive benefits, one minimum wage each. They have their electricity and water bills in arrears. Davi still wears diapers and drinks a lot of milk.
In short, they need help with household maintenance and also with painting materials, which will guarantee an extra monthly income.
