“They said I couldn’t do it”, says boy with Down syndrome after graduating from college

Dylan Kuehl did what a lot of people said he couldn’t do. He has Down syndrome and was the first with the condition to graduate from his university. What flavor!

Dylan studied art at Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington (USA). Shunning the critics, he has proven that he is as capable as anyone else. And he made a point of celebrating this achievement in style!

“Nothing scares me! They shouldn’t be telling me this in the first place. I’m not going to let your words get in my way now because I’m here,” the young man told Local 12. “I did a lot better than I thought,” Dylan added.

It won’t be the last!
Now, Dylan hopes to set an example for others with Down syndrome to let them know it’s possible!

Like Dylan, Ronaldo also overcame bullying, becoming the first student with a hearing impairment to graduate from the Federal University of Goiás.
